The 2010 Not-Going-Back-To-School Home School Party

We do have Deirdre in a Music Together class every Wednesday, which you can find out more about at this link:  http://www.musictogether.com/. We also have Connor in a gymnastics/preschool enrichment class. It's at the same place he took gym last spring, and includes gymnastics, music, group games, free play, Spanish, and some simple math/reading activities. It lasts three hours, so he is starting out only once a week.

The bulk of learning and activities are happening at home, though, which is another post entirely. Meanwhile, we were invited to and attended this party at Larabee Park/Beach. My mother and half sister, Jessica, were visiting at the time.

I'm on the right in jeans, wearing Moira in a brown wrap. We started with a picnic here above the beach, then moved down to the water.

 As it got colder we put on coats and finished back up near the picnic tables and this playground. Connor is on the bottom right with a dark coat on. He actually isn't wearing a shirt underneath it because he was wading in the ocean and fell in, and I brought extra pants but forgot an extra shirt.
